Meet Alicia Nurse – A Global Leader in Customer Experience & Brand Strategy

CEO, Strive4 Consulting

Born on the beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Long Island, New York, Alicia Nurse has built a distinguished global career in customer service, brand operations, and hospitality consulting.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Southern Adventist University and later completed her MBA at Strayer University. Her passion for customer experience started early—during her undergraduate studies, she began working with Marriott International, gaining deep insight into brand operations.

By the age of 22, she became the youngest Assistant General Manager in the Southeastern U.S.—a reflection of her leadership and drive. Recognizing the need to elevate customer experience industry-wide, she was recruited on the spot by LRA Worldwide.

In 2013, she became the first African American woman promoted to Senior Business Solutions Analyst at the firm. When LRA was acquired by Deloitte in 2015, she played a pivotal role in launching three multi-million-dollar accounts in hospitality and retail.

Over her career, Nurse has traveled to six continents and 68 countries, advising clients on customer experience strategy, quality assurance, and brand consistency.

Today, she leads Strive4 Consulting with a global vision and a personal touch—empowering businesses to deliver intentional, impactful service through training, audits, and strategic consulting.

And if you're wondering—she simply prefers to be called “Nurse.”
